Our History

Established in 1985, St. Mary's School, Mainpuri, stands as a testament to the foresight and dedication of its founders—eminent educationists and practical visionaries with extensive experience in the field of education. As Mainpuri emerged as a rapidly developing city, there was a collective realization among well-wishing friends and citizens that the community needed a school of broad and modern educational practices. The vision was clear: to cater to the needs of primary-stage children, providing them with a foundation rooted in the latest educational approaches and modern teaching methods.

The original conceptualization of the school was the brainchild of Mrs. S. Das, an experienced educator and former Principal of Kr. R. C. Kanya Inter College, Mainpuri. Her commitment to children and women’s education and strong disciplinary values laid the groundwork for transforming the school into one of the premier institutions in the District.

Over the past four decades, St. Mary's School has not only withstood the test of time but has thrived, receiving wide acclamation and support. The school has made rapid progress in all spheres, evolving into a hub of educational excellence in the region.

At present, the school community is a dynamic tapestry, comprising more than 3000 students, served by a dedicated, well-qualified staff representing diverse religious and cultural backgrounds.
